Visit MetaMask Website: Go to MetaMask.
Download: Click on “Download” in the menu bar.
Install MetaMask for Chrome: You will be redirected to the Chrome Web Store.
Add to Chrome: Click “Add to Chrome”.
Add Extension: Confirm by clicking “Add Extension”.
Once installed, follow the steps provided by the extension to create your wallet address.

If this is your first interaction with SEI, you will need to fund your wallet. You can bridge assets from other blockchains or have someone send you tokens.
Bridging Options:
As we will see in this guide, there are multiple ways of bridging into SEI, and we will dig into them.
Option 1: ATOM (or other Cosmos assets) to SEI
We have chosen ATOM but this method works for any Cosmos assets/chains available via Skip or TFM, as we will see.
Select ATOM and Bridge Providers: Go to the “Bridge” tab and select ATOM. You will be redirected to either TFM or Skip.
Connect Wallet: Visit Skip, connect your wallet (e.g., Keplr, Leap or other Cosmos wallets), and set Cosmos Hub as the source chain, ATOM as the source currency, SEI as the destination chain, and SEI as the destination currency.
Set Destination Address: Manually enter your SEI address (the one starting with “sei..”).
Submit Transaction: Sign the transaction and wait for it to complete. Your balance will be available on the main page.
Option 2: EVM to SEI
If we choose an EVM chain (say for instance a cheap chain such as Arbitrum, we will again be provided with multiple bridging choices).
Choose an EVM Chain: Select a chain like Arbitrum. Multiple bridging choices will appear, such as Stargate or Gas.zip.
Connect Wallet: Visit Gas.zip, connect your wallet, select SEI as the chain, and Arbitrum as the inbound chain.
Change Chain and Send Tokens: Change to Arbitrum, select an amount, and send it.
Verify Funds: Once the transaction is delivered, check your SEI balance.
Step 3: SEI Website
Navigate to SEI App and go to the “Stake” tab. Here’s how to get started:
Connect Your Wallet: You can choose among multiple wallets (MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase, or SEI native wallet). We will use MetaMask.
Approve Network Addition: If it’s your first time using this wallet, a pop-up will ask you to add the SEI network. Approve it to connect to SEI.
Link Your Address: After linking your address and passing a simple captcha, you will receive two addresses: an EVM address and a SEI address.
Step 4: Choose a SEI validator
Now that you have SEI in your wallet, you are ready to stake.
To start staking with the Imperator validator, first navigate to the 'Stake' page on the SEI app. Once there, you can easily access the Imperator validator. This link will take you directly to the Imperator validator page, where you can securely initiate your staking process.
Step 5: Delegate your SEI tokens
Once you've selected a validator in the SEI app, you're ready to delegate your SEI tokens:
Stake: Click the 'Stake' button next to your chosen validator.
Enter Amount: Specify how many SEI tokens you want to stake, ensuring you leave a small amount to cover any transaction fees.
Confirm: Review and confirm your transaction details, then finalize the delegation by authenticating as required.
After confirmation, your SEI tokens are staked, and you will start earning rewards based on the terms set by the SEI network.
