📌What is Dymension ?

Dymension is a multi-layer blockchain protocol designed to overcome the limitations of shared bandwidth systems found in existing blockchains. It introduces the concept of RollApps, which are application-specific rollups, and provides a Development Kit (RDK) for creating them. The Dymension Hub, built on the Cosmos SDK Proof-of-Stake chain, acts as a settlement layer specifically optimized for rollups and facilitates native interoperability among RollApps. Secure message transfer between Dymension RollApps is enabled through Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC). Additionally, Dymension incorporates a dispute-resolution mechanism, a RollApp Virtual Machine (RVM), and an integrated Automated Market Maker (AMM) to support shared liquidity and enhance security. The goal of Dymension is to revolutionize the development of decentralized applications and promote a modular, interconnected ecosystem.

📚How to stake $DYM with

MetaMask ?

Once you have some $DYM from your airdrop or some you bought, you can now start staking your tokens with a validator.

You can easily stake your $DYM using MetaMask.

Open this link and add the chain “Dymension” in your Metamask : https://chainlist.org/?search=dymension

Select the “Dymension” chain in Metamask, after which you will be able to see the amount of $DYM available in your wallet.

Open the Portal Dymension Dashbord : https://portal.dymension.xyz/dymension/staking

Here you can see all the different validators. Search for “Imperator” under “All Validators” below.

You can now select the Imperator validator. Then choose an amount of $DYM you want to delegate and click on “Stake”:

Now approve the transaction.

And it’s done! You are now staking with Imperator.co, congratulations! 👏

As a quick reminder, your funds will be locked and subject to a mandatory 21 days unbonding period once you decide to unstake your coins. During this time you will not earn any staking rewards.
