We are very excited to announce that Imperator.co is now a validator on the Cudos network!
This article aims to introduce Cudos, explain how to buy $CUDOS and help you stake your $CUDOS tokens with a validator.
📌 What is Cudos?
Cudo is a scalable computing network for both blockchains and consumers of cloud services. The main goal of Cudos is to connects blockchain developers and buyers of cloud services (consumers) with sellers (suppliers), who can monetise their idle computing resources.
With Cudos, Blockchain developers have access to compute oracles, and enterprises can obtain computation on demand that is cheaper and more flexible than that offered by the leading cloud providers.
This creates a competitive compute marketplace that offers benefits to consumers and providers.
The chain is based on the Cosmos SDK and the token $CUDOS is the native token of the network. The token is used to provide security through staking: you stake stake $CUDOS, earn staking rewards and participate in governance.
🏦 How to buy $CUDOS?
You can buy CUDOS directly on Osmosis Frontier and you can buy the token using your Keplr wallet.
💰 What does staking mean?Staking is the process of locking up a digital asset to provide economic security for a public blockchain. You have the superpower to contribute to the network’s security and it grants you the right to vote on proposals and make decisions on the future of the blockchain.
When the staking transaction is complete, rewards will start to be generated immediately. At any time, stakers can send a transaction to claim their accumulated rewards.
Staking rewards are generated and distributed to staked holders in two ways:
Through transaction fees collected by the network and distributed to stakers.
Through the inflation rate, the total supply is inflated to reward stakers.
⚠️ Holders that do not stake do not receive rewards, meaning their capital gets diluted over time.
Staking is not risk-free. If a validator has downtime or underperforms, a percentage of tokens delegated to them may be forfeited. To mitigate these risks, it is recommended that holders delegate to multiple validators.

📚 How to stake $CUDOS?
Once you have your $CUDOS on Osmosis:
→ Go to “Assets”
→ Select “Withdraw” to withdraw your $CUDOS from Osmosis to the Cudos Network
Select how many $CUDOS you would like to withdraw:
And accept the transaction on your Keplr wallet to receive the tokens on the $CUDOS network.
Now, you can go to the Cudos dashboard here: https://dashboard.cudos.org/
Connect your Keplr wallet to get access to the dashboard.
Go to “Staking” on the left:
You will see a list of different validators, select the validator you want to stake with. If you are looking for trustworthy validator and if you appreciate our work to help the community, you can stake with Imperator.co wich is our validator.
Click on “Delegate”:
Select the amount you would like to delegate and click on Submit:
Accept the transaction and that’s it! You are now staking with Imperator.co, congratulations! 👏
