AssetMantle is a fully decentralised Shopify of NFTs based in the Cosmos ecosystem. The main point of AsssetMantle is that it gives a framework for artists and creators to create their own marketplaces rather than depending on centralized marketplaces like Opensea.

With AssetMantle, people can create personal marketplaces compliant with interNFT standard, meaning that those NFTs can be transferred across different chains. Therefore, those NFTs would be truly interoperable.

💰 What is Staking?

Staking is the process of locking up a digital asset to provide economic security for a public blockchain. You have the superpower to contribute to the network’s security and it grants you the right to vote on proposals and make decisions on the future of the blockchain.

When the staking transaction is complete, rewards will start to be generated immediately. At any time, stakers can send a transaction to claim their accumulated rewards.

Staking rewards are generated and distributed to staked holders in two ways:

1. Through transaction fees collected by the network and distributed to stakers.

2. Through the inflation rate, the total supply is inflated to reward stakers.

⚠️ Holders that do not stake do not receive rewards, meaning their capital gets diluted over time.

Staking is not risk-free. If a validator has downtime or underperforms, a percentage of tokens delegated to them may be forfeited. To mitigate these risks, it is recommended that holders delegate to multiple validators.

📚 How to stake $MNTL?

Go on the official website here: https://wallet.assetmantle.one/

Click on “Sign in” at the top right of the website

⚠️Do not click on Create Wallet, you already have a Keplr wallet and you can directly connect your Keplr wallet on the website.

Now you can sign in with Keplr by clicking on “Use Keplr”:

Then you will see your Mantle address, click on “Continue”.

You will get access to your MantleWallet. Click on “Staking” which is situated on the top right of the webpage

Once you’ve clicked on it, you will see a list of different Validators, select the Validator you want. If you do not know which validator to choose, you can choose Imperator.co which is our validator.

Imperator is a professional proof-of-stake validator on the Cosmos ecosystem, we provide a reliable infrastructure and support more than 20 blockchains. We are genesis validator on the AssetMantle blockchain with a commission of 5%.

Choose your validator and click “Actions”

After choosing your validator, click on “Actions” and you will see this message:

Click on “Delegate”

Then, click on “Delegate”.

Select the amount you want to delegate and click on “Submit” right after

Then, you will have to approve the transaction on your Keplr wallet:

Note: ⚠️ If you the transaction failed and you can’t stake because of gas, then only select LOW fee.

After that, your transaction should be successful and you are now staking your $MNTL with Imperator.co!
